What size box do I need for shipping clothing?
Most apparel orders ship in boxes between 12 and 15 inches, such as a 12x9x4 for a folded garment or a 14x10x6 for multi-item orders. Measure the folded stack, add an inch for tissue or poly wrap, and round up. Every size in this range is priced on this page.
What is the most common shipping box size?
The 12x12x12 cube is the most commonly ordered corrugated box in North America, and the 12 to 15 inch bracket is the workhorse range for e‑commerce generally. It fits books, kitchenware, giftware and most general parcels, which is why this is the deepest section of our catalogue.
How many 12x12x12 boxes fit on a skid?
Around 250 boxes, shipped flat and bundled in packs of 25. Skid quantities in this range run from roughly 250 to 500 depending on the size. Ordering by the skid earns volume pricing, which applies automatically at checkout on orders of 500 boxes and up.
What does 32 ECT mean on a shipping box?
ECT is the Edge Crush Test, a measure of stacking strength: a 32 ECT box withstands 32 pounds per linear inch of edge before crushing. It is the standard grade for single-wall shipping cartons up to about 30 pounds of contents. All our stock boxes are 32 ECT Kraft; heavier grades are available by quote.
