Small Box Questions, Answered
What size box do I need for shipping cosmetics or skincare products?
Most cosmetics and skincare orders ship in boxes between 6 and 10 inches, such as a 6x6x6 or an 8x8x8. Measure your product, add half an inch to an inch on each dimension for padding, and pick the closest size up. Every size in this range is priced on this page.
What is the smallest corrugated box you make?
Our smallest stock size is 6 inches on the longest edge. All boxes in this range are 32 ECT Kraft with C-flute construction, sold in bundles and shipped flat. If you need something smaller than 6 inches, request a quote and we will price it as a custom run.
How many small boxes come in a bundle?
Small boxes are typically bundled 25 to a pack, and quantities step by the bundle size. A skid holds roughly 500 to 750 boxes at these dimensions, so a single pallet covers months of shipping for most small businesses.
Are small boxes cheaper to ship with couriers?
Usually, yes. Couriers bill on actual weight or dimensional weight, whichever is greater, and small boxes rarely trigger dimensional pricing. A snug box in this range keeps you in the lowest billing bracket, which is why sizing close to the product beats using one large box for everything.
